Drawing inspiration from architectural and natural forms, Sébastien Coudert-Maugendre blends contemporary design and vernacular know-how to establish a sculptural dialogue between raw materials and wool felt, clean and organic lines. Each piece is unique and meticulously handcrafted by four artisans from the Rhizome collective in the Centre-Val-de-Loire region of France.

Here, the back of the "Loire" armchair is sculpted in felt, embellished with discreet embroidery, contrasting with the oiled walnut of its structure.
