The "Spring/Summer" collection has been imagined as a continuation of the old "Fall/Winter" collection (stopped in 2020). The "Spring/Summer" collection, to which new pieces is added from time to time, as this console,  consists of pieces with an oak top around which a metal body is modeled. The forged structure of the base resembles the organic forms of pieces grown together, though here obtained with a cold material. The oak top is slightly bent, burned and sanded with wax, resulting in a matte, leathery finish. The electroformed copper body sculpted around the seat introduces a cool material, but radiates a warm glow that contrasts and complements the dark oak top and mirrors the season from which it sprang through its changing colors.

With this sofa, Valentin Loellmann digresses from this main guideline, relative to the new materials he has used. He innovates by working bronze and leather, offering a reinterpretation of his own collection. The work on forms is essentially the same (smooth lines, organic curves and joints treated) but the aesthetic result differs. Presented in a new light, the "Spring/Summer" collection allows new visual and tactile experiences, we rediscover it...
