European walnut, black patina metal and dark «Saint Laurent» marble
Edition Galerie Gosserez, limited to 12 pieces + 1 prototype.
The idea of a low table is redesigned to fit the idea of pressure.
Playing with proportions, disproportions and scales, a light, slender structure supports a heavy solid marble cask. Inspired by the expected ghost trains that haunt various amusement parks globally, the low table base is structured as a rollercoaster circuit whose design is dictated by the technical necessity to support the 100 pounds of marble. Like Sol LeWitt's works, this low table draws on the ideas of repetition and of simplicity of pattern.
