DIANE DE KERGAL: « VERS SOI »

This week, for our greatest pleasure, we will be inaugurating Diane de Kergal's first solo exhibition: "Vers soi" at Galerie Gosserez.
Resulting from the "Emergence" light sculpture project in partnership with Galerie Gosserez, the exhibition presents the designer's creative journey by bringing together an exclusive selection of pieces imagined for this occasion.
Resolutely minimalist, this multifaceted interior architect, designer, and self-taught artist shapes her worlds like a tightrope walker, in constant search of a balance between clean lines and raw materials. Inspired by the work of Isamu Noguchi, Diane de Kergal questions the immaterial vibration of light through paper.
She follows her instincts and tries to tame this brightness through flexible forms. Inspired by her travels, she tirelessly draws cocoons... to discover in the Cévennes a breeding farm of silkworms, virtuosos in the field! She entrusts them with her casts, thus weaving their silk cocoons as close as possible to her sculptures. All that remains is to flood them with light. Dialogue is born between a woman and nature.
