Pierre Lapeyronnie

Pierre Lapeyronnie

Born in 1982, Pierre Lapeyronnie grew up between Paris and the Dordogne.
Graduate of the Beaux-Arts, he began his career as an exhibition scenographer before founding his design studio in 2010.
He designs furniture programs for companies such as Ligne Roset, FR66, La Société du Grand Paris, or BNP, and residential and commercial spaces for private clients.
At the same time, as his projects progressed, he met many craftspeople from whom he learned the basics of tapestry, locksmithing, cabinetmaking, pottery, and glassmaking.

Ten years later, in 2020, driven by the desire to explore a more virtuous mode of production, he opened his workshop on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, thus uniting his taste for design with his need to make.

Pierre Lapeyronnie nurtures a radical and constructivist approach to volumes. Balance, accuracy, and sobriety are values that guide his process, both conceptually and formally.
His pieces propose an essential vision of daily life, a purification of function.
