French interior architect and designer Grégoire de Lafforest graduated from ESAG Penninghen, a Parisian institution of higer education, before working in many interior architecture agencies such as Bruno Moinard's, Noé Duchaufour Lawrence's and Gilles & Boissier's. Within these structures, he participated in major projects such as the decoration of Hermes Paris's head offices, the refurbishing of all Cartier boutiques, the renovation of a mansion house for Veuve Clicquot and more recently, the redesigning of Baccarat Hotel in New York City. He is currently working with Hermès to design their furniture collections.
At the same time, he develops his own interior design and furniture projects, which earned him VIA awards in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He also recently won the "Talent of Elegance" award at the Luxury Summit of Creation 2017.
Soft and fluid, almost minimalistic, his creations for Galerie Gosserez reflect his personal inspirations and desires, all of them oriented towards simplicity. His pieces of furniture are classically designed and made of natural, sober and warm materials. Gregoire de Lafforest’s creations have all the charm of timelessness.
